2/26 LA River Cleanup with OVERDUE

On Sunday 2/26 our CHEER organization participated with OVERDUE to help clean up the LA River near Balboa Boulevard. The OVERDUE organization is an awesome organization that has been cleaning up the LA River and other locations throughout multiple cities across the US. It was amazing to see how much trash we collected from the river after the heavy rains. Many pieces of trash were caught in trees that were really high up in the air. We cleaned up so much trash and even found a couple of shopping carts. Thank you to everyone who showed up and spent time cleaning up the river on Sunday!
