So excited to share that our second day of the CHEER x PALS STEAM Camp was another success!! The kids had so much fun today and were even more hyper than yesterday!
Session 1: Game time, hosted by Boheng and Ian, was the children just relaxing and playing with jumbo jingo blocks! It was really fun and everyone had to be super careful not to knock the tower over!
Session 2: Science in a bag was next! The kids got to learn about cool science experiments that included food dye in oil and water as well as a candle under a cup and observing the flame from Connor, Olivia, Benjamin, and Boheng! Everyone was so engaged and they all wanted to volunteer to participate in the experiments!
Session 3: Afterwards, the kids got to relax and have lots of fun by making arts and crafts with Connor and Olivia! Today, they made paper claws and fast paper airplanes. All the instructors and kids even went outside to go fly them and had fun seeing whose paper airplane went the furthest!
Session 4: To end off the 2nd day with a blast, Benjamin and Ian took the kids outside again today to launch rockets! It was so engaging because the kids were able to pump the rocket and launch it themselves. They were all able to take turns in launching it and it was super fun! After, everyone went inside and Ian and Benjamin briefly explained the components of rockets, and how and why they work the way they do.
