BRIDGE PROJECT

We aim to promote mutual interracial understanding and collaboration in our Bridge Project, a program for bridging the ethnically-motivated divide between Asian- and African-American communities. This is accomplished via lectures from CSUN collaborators, community gatherings, and educational camps aimed at promoting tolerance and unity as opposed to the status quo. Specific programs encompassed in the project include:

• Our winter camp of 2021, with African-American participation and teacher

• Our STEM for girls lecture, aimed at promoting inclusion with a demographic not previously associated with science
