Inspire Math Circle

This Spring, SCV CHEER introduced the Inspire Math Circle to enrich elementary student's knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts. Thomas, founder of Inspire, developed the Math Circle as a means to return to the community an opportunity for inquisitive kids to learn math. He developed this curriculum based on the UCLA Math Circle and his experiences tutoring lower elementary students. Joined by Kate, Owen and Yilu, Inspire successfully ran its first course for Upper Elementary students from April to early June. Thanks to our instructors' passion for math, the kids left the program highly motivated and excited about future math circles.

Inspire Math Circle will expand its offerings to two courses over the summer of 2025 geared for lower and upper elementary students.
