CHEER 6th Anniversary Party! (and Mini Sports) - 9/27/25

On Saturday, September 27, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM PDT, CHEER gathered to celebrate its 6th Anniversary!
The event started as everyone brought food to share for a potluck. There was a variety of foods and drinks, from pizza to Pringles to lemonade to even a birthday cake. There was no way anyone was going to leave hungry!
The highlight of this celebration came when we cheered on our presidents as they took the stage and delivered heartfelt speeches about the incredible journey that led to CHEER being where it is today. They reflected on the challenges overcome, the many milestones reached, the partnerships with the Los Angeles City Council, and the awards achieved along the way, which were the icing on top. Their words truly touched us deeply in a way we will never forget, no matter what we do. It's honestly wonderful just how much can be accomplished when people come together.
And of course, we had to end the birthday with a cake! We made sure to sing "Happy Birthday," and we ended the day with plenty of fun playing the many sports and minigames prepared.
We are proud of what we achieved, and we are really excited for what is to come.
