On April 2nd, a garbage cleaning event was held in the parking lot of Stevenson Ranch Walmart. A lot of cheer members participated, including Yimeng, Yilu, Alice, Jimmy, Julia, and many other parents as well. We worked in groups to gather a variety of trash, including plastic bottles, cigarette butts, food wrappers, and other debris that had been scattered throughout the area. The whole event was very successful, we managed to collect seven bags (approximately 30 pounds) of trash. However, due to the time limitation, a quarter of the location remained to be cleaned. Therefore, I will organize another event to clean up that specific area soon.
