On Thursday, June 20, CHEER’s last STEAM Fair at the Pals camp was a great success. The two hosted activities were the paper airplanes workshop and STEM in Sports. Many kids were excited to make paper airplanes and we had many high fliers!
We also had an experiment that tested the kids’ knowledge of physics using differently weighted balls. We dropped two differently weighted balls and made a prediction on which would hit the floor first. Using physics we determined that despite the weight difference, both balls hit the floor simultaneously.
Thursday’s activities were a great success and many kids enjoyed playing with their airplanes and learning about sports.
