The third day of the STEAM fair covered a variety of engineering topics. Children were taught about concepts including 3D printing, robotics, and rocketry.
Participants were distributed 3D printed souvenirs from the 3D printing booth. They also learned about the basic principles of 3D printing.
The kids also played with the interactive robotics demo. The robots were loaded with wall-avoidance code that allowed many opportunities for interaction.
The children had fun playing with the various rocketry demonstrations throughout the day. An air-powered stomp rocket launcher and a water-powered hydro rocket launcher were provided to the kids, which proved to be a fun activity for all involved.
