On September 15, 2024, CHEER members attended the annual President's Volunteer Service Award Ceremony. During the ceremony, awards were passed out to all the CHEER members who qualified for bronze, silver, or gold medals. In addition to passing out medals, Dan Chang, local non-profit leader running for the LAUSD Board, presented a short speech encouraging people to participate in non-profit activities. CHEER also gave a shoutout to all the donors who contributed financially to CHEER. After the ceremony, CHEER members participated in fun activities and ate cake and had pizza, to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of CHEER. Thanks to all the CHEER members who took part in this special event.
