Community Clean-Up: Northridge Park

Date: Saturday, 10-1-22

Time: 5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

Location: Northridge Park, 10120 Reseda Blvd.

First, we arrived, handed out the grabbers and plastic trash bags, and took a picture with the banner. Then we fanned out throughout the park and began to pick up trash at different places with the force of a couple of families, totaling 26 people in all. There were two new families, Sophia and Joshua. There was a multitude of garbage that was small and left over from parties at the park. The weather was nice and people were playing in the park and field. Many of the grabbers broke because they were used on multiple occasions. I hope there will be newer and more participants for the next one.
