Hosting Meal Preparation at SFV Rescue Mission During Spring Break

On Friday, April 18th, CHEER had the opportunity to help out at the SFV Rescue Mission by preparing meals for families in need. Benjamin and Max worked hard chopping potatoes, green peppers, and onions. Once the meals were ready, we helped serve dinner to the families/residents, assisted with washing dishes, and helped clean the facility afterward.

Helping with meal preparation was both fun and rewarding. It gave us a chance to make a real difference and learn firsthand how much the SFV Rescue Mission kitchen depends on volunteers.

We hope CHEER will have more opportunities to support the SFV Rescue Mission again soon.
