LA River Clean Up with OVERDUE

On October 15, 2023, CHEER joined OVERDUE in a recycled art competition and clean-up of the LA River. There was a large amount of trash in the river including a printer and a shopping cart. Afterward, CHEER participated in a recycled art event where we made art from Starbucks cups and stirrers. North Hollywood HGM - Gavin Koo won 3rd place in the Recycling Art Competition by making a spiraled staircase out of his cup. Thank you to all the volunteers who came to help the community.
