LAPD PAL Toy Drive is a tradition to bring joy to kids from the local community. This year 4 families signed up as hosts. Patrick Li’s Family, Sophia Hu’s Family, Hannah and Jerry Yang’s Family, and Michelle Liu’s Family.
Our host families reached out to local schools, churches and communities to collect toys.
During the clothes drive on November 22nd, several families also dropped the toys off to donate them to LAPD PALS.
On December 16th, I had the honor of helping deliver tons of toys to LAPD PALS, and seeing the joy on the staff’s faces when they saw the toys we brought. Along with our donations, there were hundreds of other toys there waiting to be chosen by the underprivileged kids that PALS served. The CHEER collaboration with LAPD PALS for their Toy Drive began last year, and has received strong support from both sides. The LAPD PALS Toy Drive is an annual tradition that brings joy to kids in their local community. Thanks to all the Host Families, without you this event wouldn’t have been possible!
