Today CHEER hosted a trash clean-up in the morning at Limekiln Canyon Park, and on Corbin and Rinaldi Street. We meet council member John Lee who was also hosting a trash pick-up there.
There were 8 people who participated - 5 kids and 3 adults.
We first started picking up trash at the entrance of the park, then moved down to the street to pick up more. After an hour or two, we ended with about 4 bags of trash and 1 bag of recyclables.
I highly encourage anyone who can help out to come to our next trash cleanup! It'll be good for the community and environment. Also it is great exercise!
