Hello, my name is Thomas and I hosted the cleanup on Sunday, January 2nd. We managed to pick up 4 full bags of trash, plus a street light, with 4 families in an hour. Since Cheer’s goal is to help the community, my family and I decided to pick the Iron Horse Trailhead and the Santa Clara Trail to ensure that we maximized the amount of trash we would pick up. We started at the Iron Horse Trailhead and worked our way through the Santa Clara River Trail to the McBean Trailhead and back, cleaning up both the parking lot and the trail. I feel like we had a good turnout considering we were returning from the Holiday season.
