After 2 months of 11 cleanup trials in small groups, CHEER officially launched the community cleanup project to the community in October.
In mid-October, CHEER broadcasted it’s first community cleanup to families. It took place in the last week of October, on 10/30/2021, at Winnetka Recreation Center.
Since then, we’ve had 2 more cleanup events take place and have more upcoming cleanups!
So far, around 30 families have expressed interest in our cleanup project. We hope that more people continue to join us as we expand what was once an idea to reality! All are welcome! As always, please don’t hesitate to invite your friends and family, the more hands we can get to help our communities and the environment, the better!
