On Monday, November 23rd, 2020, a few CHEER members (Justin Koo, Angela Yang, Jerry Yang, Hannah Yang) went to Los Angeles Fire Station 107 which is the Devonshire Fire Department. We went to donate $150 worth of In-N-Out gift cards to the firefighters there. We met up with the firefighters at around 4:30 pm and we gave them the gift cards and firefighter artwork. Especially with all the recent wildfires going on in California, CHEER believed it was important for us to appreciate the firefighters who have put their safety and their lives on the line to protect our community. We had a lot of fun and the firefighters there were extremely kind! While social distancing, we discussed our members’ previous experiences with wildfires and expressed our gratitude for their efforts in combating the fires. Below are a few pictures!
