College Application Anxiety Workshop

How to Prepare for AP Chinese Test lecture

Experienced Chinese Teacher for

over 12+ years and AP Chinese teacher for

over 8+ years Mrs Jin Explained the AP Chinese test each section in detail, deployed the tips on resolving listening, speak, writing and reading questions. She also offered sample questions and asked students to solve them on site. There are more than 10 audiences (including 5 students) in the lecture.

Dr. Gang Sun is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and school psychologist. He has a master’s degree in special education from Beijing Normal University and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa. Dr. Sun has worked as a school psychologist in a variety of school settings including at preschool, elementary school, and high schools during the past 15 years, working with children and adolescents with special education needs and social emotional issues related to their education. Dr. Sun’s specialty is in the areas of assessment and evaluation of children with various special education needs including special learning disability, attention deficit and hyperactivity, intellectual disability, autism, and emotional disturbance. Dr. Sun also provides educational consultation and planning, academic design and college application, and psychological and education services to immigrant students from China.

Emotional Resilience Lecture and Workshop for Middle/High school students

A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. ResilientHeart is dedicated to developing lifelong emotional resilience in the hearts and minds of children and adults. About 20 people showed up. Students pretty much enjoyed this lecture.

A fun math workshop with the following topics:

Beauty of math – surprisingly simple ways for solving problems.

Controversial math truth – if you’re not convinced, we’ll test with

a fun experiment.

Counter-intuitive examples – common sense may not be true.

So easy it’s hard – an unsolved problem.
