Hi, all, Holly met a lady who is collecting books for this school project, they are helping Africa to build up a library.
We can get involved by collecting some books. If anyone wants to help with this project, please talk to Zydon, Albert, Aaron, Holly, or anyone on the team.
The drive is being run by students from the Agoura High School International Baccalaureate program as their service component of their IB diploma program.
Here's a list of what NOT to send: Encyclopedia sets Magazines or journals of any kind, including academic journals. Home decorating or wedding books. Cookbooks. Ethnocentric books, such as the biography of Abraham Lincoln or the history of Ohio. Foreign language books except for French books. French novels and dictionaries are welcome. American history or civics. Music books for K–12. Murder mysteries or anything with “kill,” “die,” “murder,” etc. in the title.
