Another great speech session took place today with fun and interactive activities! First, we went in breakout rooms to talk about turning NEGATIVE events into POSITIVE events. Many people shared personal negative experiences with their partners and their partners helped them look at the positive aspect of it. Then, we had an informational presentation by mentor Ashley about body paragraphs! We learned that body paragraphs include main points and evidence/support to go with it. Then, we played a fun kahoot and Alice won 1st place! Great job Alice!
Afterwards, mentor Javier brilliantly presented us with facts on LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION. He showed us many movie clips of confused communication to show us how important it really is to communicate appropriately. Oliver was very interactive and used GREAT communication during this session. Nice job Oliver!
