Today was the final day of the CHEER x CYI speech program! It was certainly a very memorable day for both mentors and students!
We started off with our informational speeches! Everyone gave a speech about an idea, object, or subject that they knew about. Participants talked about interesting topics such as the Qingming festival, Cats' vision, and how to play the violin! Mentors were very proud of our students and gave very positive feedback. Everyone did great during the speech and showed massive signs of improvement!
Our final activity of the program was the graduation ceremony! Every student was given a certificate and their picture taken along with it. It was a heartfelt moment and the students gave their sincere thanks to the mentors for the dedication they showed during these past weeks. Mentors also congratulated the students on their outstanding performance and improvement. Amazing job to all mentors AND students! You all did phenomenal in this program!
