For our very first San Fernando Valley Family Chinese Cooking iCloud Festival, participants made a wide variety of traditional Chinese or fusion dishes. During the festival, families prepared ingredients and showed their audiences the cooking procedures of their dish. One family made ice cream, another made a beef dish infused with a special sauce, and yet another showed us a surprising twist of a traditional Chinese dish. It was a bold move to make the popular spring onion pancake into perfect bite sized cookies. One participant even made five unique dishes, revealing each step in detail.
